As a Direct Support Professionals (also known as Resident Assistant, Home Health Aide, CNA), you will work in a residential group home setting(known as CLA) for adults with developmental disabilities.
A Residential Assistant is responsible for personal care, medication administration, behavioral support, and transportation of 3-4 individuals living in a group home setting.

Direct Support Professionals will have the opportunity to:
Support and empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build skills and reach personalized goals.
Actively protect and uphold the human rights of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Facilitate relationship building between individuals and community through activities based on individuals interests and hobbies Actively search for new opportunities and interests to introduce to individuals to experience life in their homes and communities.
Assist individuals in development of appropriate life skills in a way that promotes independence and autonomy.
No experience necessary, we provide paid training and team support!
Qualifications:
Minimum High School Diploma/ GED Acceptable criminal background Valid Driver's License with 2 yrs.
experience, and less than 3 moving violations (NO Major Violations, DUI's, Suspensions) in the previous 36 months Ability to pass pre-employment Drug Screen/ Physical/ Mantoux Test (PPD, TB) Direct Support Professional Duties and
Responsibilities:
Direct Support Professionals are responsible for but not excluded to the following duties:
Providing personal Care to individuals as needed (to include assistance with toileting, bathing, clothing, feeding, transfers, etc.
).
Behavioral Support (to include working with potential physical and verbal outbursts/ aggressiveness).
Medication Administration (must be able to pass Medication Administration training).
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Must be able to stand, walk, sit, traverse, kneel, bend from the waist, etc.

Must be able to communicate verbally, visually, and audibly.
