Senior IT Audtior

Kforce has a client with a fantastic opportunity in the Baltimore, Maryland (MD) area for a Senior IT Auditor to join a fast-growing team!Responsibilities include:
Evaluate processes, identify risks and controls, and develop risk focused audit plans to ensure control adequacy
Execute field work, identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations
Draft internal audit reports that clearly and succinctly capture results of work performed including collaboration with management in the development of effective action plans in response to audit findings
Supervise and coach junior team members throughout audit execution
Complete follow-up testing of management action plans
Contribute to the on-going improvement of the Internal Audit Department
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, Computer Science or related field required
CISA, CISSP or other relevant certification
Minimum of 4 years post-graduate experience and 2 years applicable internal audit, external audit, SOC reporting experience
Strong understanding of risk-based audit methodology and accepted risk and control frameworks
Demonstrated customer-focused approach to auditing; works to understand customer expectations and requirements
Experience in the use of data analytics to more effectively and efficiently perform audit activities is an asset

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
