Manager, IT Audit

Kforce has a client in the Baltimore, Maryland (MD) area that is seeking a Manager, IT Audit to join their growing team.Responsibilities include:
Effectively manage and execute audit activities across the organization
Lead preparation of risk assessments, audit plan programs, working papers and internal audit reports
Assist in development of audit committee and executive leadership presentations
Supervise audit staff
Assist with the development of internal audit policies and procedures
Deliver timely high-quality audit reports
Participate in major business initiatives and advise/assist the business on change initiatives
Collaborate with management in the development of effective action plans in response to audit findings
Monitoring, reporting and validation of management action plans in response to audits
BS/BA degree in Finance or IT
CISA, CISSP or similar certification preferred
Minimum 7 years of progressive internal audit, external audit and/or SOC reporting experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in a manager position
Candidates should have an interest in leading a mix of IT, financial and/or operational audit
Experience developing internal audit plans and interacting with management to develop practical value-added business solutions that help to improve governance, risk management and internal control
Strong understanding of risk-based audit methodology and accepted risk and control frameworks

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
