Transition Manager - P3 Facilities Maintenance and Construction (HVAC Domain)

What you will doUnder general supervision, this position is responsible for managing the support efforts during transitions of new projects or expansions of existing projects,on our customers site in Columbia, MD,providing ongoing support throughout a projects entire life cycle; interfacing with others to ensure budgets are established and complied with, appropriate utilization of national vendors contracts and ensuring effective asset purchasing and leasing decisions are made.
How you will do itResponsible for the ongoing maintenance tech operations on behalf of a dedicated account and ensuring a safe, efficient, and cost effective delivery of services is provided to the customer within accountDuring construction:
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with
    • The constructor and its subs
    • The Client and its staff
  • Provide leadership for building and system installation review to ensure that the building is constructed to meet the Facility Management, FM, contract obligations
  • Understanding the construction specifications
    • The commissioning requirements
    • The FM requirements
    • The Service Level Agreement, SLA, requirements
  • Contributing to the consortia discussions on issues that may influence the FM outcomes
  • Attend meetings with the consortia and the client
  • Work closely with project teams and clients to support scope, involvement could include:
    • Design Documentation; Developing criteria with the client; System Conceptualization; Feasibility Studies; Developing system alternatives and supporting equipment selection
  • Field observations and inspections, design support , commissioning support , Quality Assurance / Testing
  • Develop operational policies guided by project specifications
  • Following completion of construction:
  • Maintain and support a safe working environment
  • Warranty management
  • Maintain a good working relationship with the Client and its staff
  • Provide leadership for the FM operations for the site
  • Manage and supervise ongoing training programs, identifying and developing additional training processes where necessary to consistently improve overall team skill levels.
  • Provide overall responsibility for staff and contractors on site
  • Responsible for maintaining all required property documentation including but not limited to company and regulatory compliance.
  • Meet team objectives including cost savings, work order efficiency, route efficiency, carbon footprint reduction and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Responsible for ensuring all reporting is completed accurately in a timely manner including internal scorecards
  • Ensure all planned and essential services maintenance is performed, documented, and audited
  • Manage the timely completion and review of key admin deliverables such as monthly reports, annual reports, internal and external audits
  • Deliver services as per the booked or agreed budgets
  • Management of minor works process and budget
What we look for
  • Two to seven years experience in facility management and operations with experience in planning and scheduling, subcontract management.
  • Some construction site experience, or similar environment is required.
  • Must have a customer service orientation with excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a teaming and matrixes environment with multiple and changing tasks and priorities.
  • Strong team leader, must have excellent project management skills as demonstrated through experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% initially then with build/construction will go down to 10%.
  • Must have Valid US Passport to travel to and from Canada
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of wide areas of P3 Business and business systems.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
