Design Engineer

Duties include preparation of studies, design, and providing engineering support for new and upgrades to water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, storage facilities, and biosolids facilities. Responsibilities will also include providing engineering support during construction of water and wastewater facilities including site visits which will require compliance with established Health & Safety Plans. These duties will be performed under the supervision of a project engineer or project manager.
Experience 3- 5 years of experience with the evaluation and design of water and wastewater facilities to include associated treatment processes, process equipment, and system hydraulics and pumping.
Skills Experience shall include the design of process mechanical systems for water and wastewater pumping stations, storage facilities, and treatment plants. Shall be experienced in preparation of engineering reports, contract drawings and specifications for water and wastewater facilities and knowledgeable of water and wastewater modeling/hydraulics to support pumping and treatment systems designs. Working knowledge and proficiency in utilizing AutoCAD software is required. Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit (3D BIM) is preferred. Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
Degrees / Licenses (R)equired ? (P)referred Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental or Mechanical Engineering. Engineer-in-Training Certification required. Professional Engineer License desired.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
