This opportunity ensures you will be part of a dynamic team for career growth. The Payroll Administrator opportunity will be located in Sparks, Maryland as a long term temporary-to-fulltime role. What you get to do every single day - Handle reconciliation of employee deductions and other relevant liabilities - Provide help with all internal and external audits of payroll - Draft reports by organizing all summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages - Handle other duties as necessary - Put together summaries of employer social security, unemployment, and worker compensation payments and employee federal and state income and social security taxes to calculate all payroll liabilities - Proper payroll information maintenance by collecting, calculating, and entering data - Continue employee confidence in payroll operations by keeping sensitive information confidential - Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines - Collect and analyze information including resolving payroll discrepancies - Perform review and verification of source documents - Draft relevant year-end reports, as well as weekly, monthly, and quarterly ones, for department heads - Report changes where necessary after maintaining payroll operations via company policies and procedures - Providing payroll information by answering questions and requests - Enter changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers as part of managing payroll records For immediate consideration email the resume to Click Here to Email Your Resum? or call 410.527.1817.
- Previous experience handling high volume multi-state payroll, billing, licensing, AP, etc. - Expertise with internal controls - Knowledgeable of basic accounting principles and solid financial acumen - 2+ years of strong payroll experience - Understanding of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements - Reliable skills in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills - Excellent analytical, quantitative and social skills - Certified Payroll Professional will be given preference - Solid understanding of payroll systems for 100-500 employees - Accurate, swift, data entry abilities - Previous experience using accounting software

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
