Works on assignments that are complex in nature and requires ability to operate a variety of production equipment to meet product and quality specifications. . Uses independent judgment in evaluating and operating process equipment and instrumentation to ensure constant compliance with SMP's. Monitors meters, gauges, temperatures, pressures, and related controls. Interprets complex drawings, diagrams, charts and specifications. Generates reports, graphs, and other data. Maintains accurate records and logs (via manual and/or computerized systems) in accordance with FDA, GMP's and ISO9000. Effectively works in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives. Make effective decisions relative to position requirements
Uses judgment in evaluating and operating process equipment and instrumentation to ensure constant compliance with standard manufacturing practices. Plans and control timing of operations.
This role functions as a back-up for any of the following roles .
Line Operator
Aseptic Additive Operator
Media Prep Operator
Reagent Prep
Equipment Proceser
BHR coordinator/SAP data entry
BHR coordinator/Process Reviewer
Must be good communicator (oral/written) of technical and non-technical information. Must be able to read, write, comprehend and interpret complex charts, drawings, diagrams, graphs and other data. Must have the ability to complete assigned tasks in an accurate and timely manner and detect and resolve problems in the performance of those tasks. Must be able to perform complex work to close tolerances (high quality and accuracy). Lifting/moving 1-5 lbs. over 70% of the time. Lifting/moving 5-25 lbs. 40%-70% of the time.
Knowledge and Skills:
Proven organizational, , problem solving, time management, and communication skills. Ability to function effectively in a good work environment. Proficient with Windows-based PC systems, e-mail, and Microsoft Office software. Knowledge of FDA/GMP/ISO regulations preferred. Ability to learn and function competently within SAP software environment. Good manual dexterity for handling of small quantities of powders and liquids. Previous experience with performing calculations and the preparation of solutions is preferred. Team-oriented and able to perform with a team setting. Experience in the proper use of Balances, Pipettes, pH Meters, Sterlizers, and APCO S.
Education and Experience
A.A. degree in microbiology plus a minimum 2-4 years of manufacturing/laboratory experience or High School Diploma plus a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing/laboratory experience.
SAP Profiles:
Must have the ability to learn to use the SAP system.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
