Fundamental Administrative Services, LLC a healthcare management company based out of Sparks, Maryland is searching for a customer service and detail oriented professional to join their team in a full time, Accounts Payable Coordinator II position. The Accounts Payable Coordinator II will work to support the AP team with recurring expenses and patient refunds.
Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator II -Recurring and Patient Refund Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Processing assigned recurring entries

  • Assisting with duties associated with Escheatment/ Unclaimed Property

  • Processing refunds on patient accounts

  • Providing backup support for refunds on other business lines

  • Working on special projects associated with refunds and recurring expenses

  • Providing entry support for facility entries during MEC

  • Notifying facilities of expired recurring contracts

  • Maintaining and modifying recurring expenses

  • Researching and cleaning up vendors with billing issues or credit balances

  • Participating in conference call facility training

  • Other related duties as assigned by supervisor


  • High School Diploma or G.E.D required

  • Working knowledge of the Accounts Payable process

  • At least 4 years of work related experience- including Unclaimed Property

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook required

  • Experience with PeopleSoft Financials strongly preferred

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills required; must be able to work effectively with various levels of personnel

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
