Overview:
We are seeking an experienced marketing leader, marketing coach and marketing subject matter expert to lead our global BDDS marketing excellence initiatives and establish marketing as a competitive advantage for BD. DS has lead the way in establishing GDPS CE as the standard for the role of marketing in product development, won the 2017 CEO award for developing a marketing shaping toolkit rolled out worldwide and driven best in class marketing planning to support ASR development. This role will continue the foundation established over the past two years and enhance our marketing excellence by driving the following:
Developing and executing a Marketing Training Plan based upon understanding the competency gaps and needs within the marketing organization.
This roll will also establish a best in class training team to ensure our curriculum is delivered by our top marketers.
Coach and Support Strategic Marketing Planning with WW & Regional marketing teams ? Ensure marketing plans are of the quality we expect, coach where needed and ensure alignment and pull through of those plans with the regions. Partner with WW business leaders, WW marketing teams and regional partners to ensure investments tie to the strategic direction of the business with "how to win" options that are prioritized and "choiceful".
Identifying best in class marketing trends ? using market sensing, competitive intelligence and planning skills to identify how DS moves from being reactive to changing marketing trends into a more proactive state. What are other industries investing in, what are the best ways to reach customers, what skills or resources are needed to capitalize on these types of trends? This role will then build a plan for the ASR to reflect the resources needed to gain the cutting edge.
Coaching our marketers to tie BDWoM and BDWoS together to ensure we are using our marketing skills and direct marketing programs to influence the sales process and, ultimately, the sales funnel.
Support GPDS excellence by driving to the process with projects in flight, adjusting the process to fit the needs of DS and as a member of the DS workstreams to ensure the whole organization is working together to become best in class at product development.
Partner with solutions commercial excellence manager and CX Lead on training excellence needed to improve our customer experience. What training do our associates, sales representatives, application specialists and customers need to optimize our technologies and workflow excellence options.
This individual will be accountable for driving execution of key marketing initiatives aligned with business, platform and franchises in order to achieve key business objectives and global and regional marketing excellence. This position will institutionalize the rollout of best practice sharing as well as developing new and best practices with worldwide scope and relevance (e.g., brand essence, etc.).
This role will be responsible for influencing the marketing strategy globally (e.g., marketing mix, new channels, etc.) and will contribute multi-national expertise on where to invest, planning and consultation to DS Platforms, franchises and regions.
The ideal candidate will be capable of coaching and coordinating with the regions & worldwide team to facilitate successful strategic planning, build marketing training excellence across DS, and enable worldwide communications efforts. This role will support the VP of global marketing to manage the DS Global Marketing Committee and ensure coordinated strategic & tactical implementation, global/regional/local collaboration, and marketing success. S/he will serve as the conduit to the corporate marketing excellence role and assure that DS is ahead of the curve. This position requires strong collaboration with the regions, platforms, franchises and other commercial-related functions.
Requirements:
8-10 years of experience in the medical device/pharma industry
Must have a BS/BA. MBA preferred.
The ideal candidate will have downstream and upstream marketing experiences, use and leverage BDWoM, have demonstrated marketing excellence in their past roles and be seeking a leadership role within their organization.
Must have worldwide mindset and strong collaboration skills.
In depth experience in providing the business deliverables associated with the early stages of product development.
History of effective cross-functional collaboration (R&D, Finance, Quality, Manufacturing, Business Development) in new product and business development.
Experience in communicating major change initiatives verbally, written and via presentation expertise to senior level leadership.
Past WW experience preferred.
Demonstrated strategic marketing skills (competitive analysis, VoC, 'upstream' stages of product development, buying process, business modeling, market research, road mapping / portfolio management, and value proposition development)
Demonstrated leadership skills (Business Acumen, Execution/Drive For Results, Strategy Development, Constructive Challenge)
Proven ability to coach teams not under direct management
Strong financial and analytical skills
Strong presentation and communication skills
Team player
Strong influencing skills and ability to work in a highly matrixed organization

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
