About the Opportunity:
Fundamental Administrative Services, a health care consulting and management company based out of Sparks, MD is searching for a Reimbursement Coordinator to join our team. Be a part of a specialized team of professionals whose role is to support the reimbursement functions for long term care facilities across the United States!
Summary of Responsibilities:
Medicare bad debt review
Maintain statistics for Medicare and Medicaid cost report filings
Maintain facility reimbursement files
Assist in the preparation of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports
Qualifications:
Must have at minimum a 2 year degree
Experience with Excel spreadsheets and, preferably, PeopleSoft general ledger systems
Prefer previous work experience
Must be detail oriented and able to think critically and problem solve
Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
Must be flexible and a team player

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
