Strategic Sourcing Manager
Global manufacturer of Diagnostic Instrumentation seeks a Strategic Sourcing Manager for their location in Sparks, MD.
Sourcing Manager will be responsible for managing a spend category for instrument components which include electro-mechanical, sub assemblies, machined components, wiring cables, PC Boards, etc.
Will be responsible to develop and implement a sourcing strategy for the category.
Responsibilities include negotiation, contracting, and ongoing supplier value management for continuous improvement.
Will interface with stakeholders to determine their needs, create time tables, monitor, analyze, and synthesize changes to internal business needs.
Require a BS degree combined with minimum 5 years of purchasing experience of instrument components with at least 3 years of strategic sourcing experience.
Individual can come out of any industry as long as they have been purchasing mechanical or electro-mechanical components.
Excellent interpersonal and communication essential.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
