The Employee Benefit Coordinator will serve an administrative role as a health insurance service representative to our clients and vendors.
The Coordinator will be in active communication with both clients and vendors working diligently and efficiently to ensure that all requested services are provided accurately and in a timely fashion.
The Coordinator will also work closely with other Team members to provide support in sales, servicing, renewal, and office management functions.
Responsibilities:
Maintain/update subject matter work product.
Maintain/update client contact, plan detail, and other benefits coverage information and matrices.
Assist with client enrollment, termination, and change process.
Assist with COBRA administration process.
Maintain client claims service reports and manage communication process with clients and vendor(s).
Communicate with clients and their employees regarding client servicing issues and questions.
Respond to emails and inquiries.
Assist with new client onboarding.
Assist with existing client renewal processes with various vendors.
Qualifications and requirements:
High School diploma required.
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Prior health insurance experience preferred, either with a broker or insurance provider.
Must become licensed as a life/health insurance producer within 1 year of employment.
Technology platforms:
Selerix, Employee Navigator Skills and
Qualifications:
Strong clerical skills, including data entry and document organization.
Basic Microsoft Office computer skills, including Excel, with the ability to calculate proportions/percentages, discounts, etc.
Ability to prioritize workload and identify and focus on areas of significant impact.
Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment with limited margin for error.
Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external clients and vendors, both verbally and in writing.
Friendly, professional, helpful, and customer-service oriented demeanor.
Comfortable with phone call interactions.
Exhibits an eagerness to learn new tasks and take on additional responsibilities.
