Friday thru Sunday, 6am to 6pmJob Overview Reports directly to Maintenance Supervisor.
Performs routine set up, operation, minor and major routine maintenance, preventative maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting of highly complex/automated manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities include production, quality, downtime and waste levels of machine operation.
Perform mechanical, pneumatic and electrical maintenance (including preventive) repairs, adjustments, inspection and monitoring of production and/or facilities related equipment and machinery.
Uses judgment and consultation to analyze, troubleshoot and repair complex equipment and machinery.
Must project positive attitude with good team skills.
Effectively works in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives.

Uses judgment to plan, perform, make decisions, troubleshoot and problem solve in performance of all maintenance tasks.

Controls and adjusts machine settings.
Responsibilities include production, quality, downtime and waste levels of machine operation.
Perform mechanical, pneumatic and electrical maintenance (including preventive) repairs, adjustments, inspection and monitoring of production and/or facilities related equipment and machinery.
Uses judgment to plan, perform, make decisions, troubleshoot and problem solve in performance of all maintenance tasks.
Prioritizes daily work assignments to meet production needs and department goals.
Responsible for preventive maintenance scheduling, completion of work orders and tasks as assigned.
Supports installation and removal of equipment, and performance of required corrective maintenance.
Consistent presence in production departments.
Monitors the production lines and proactively evaluates equipment performance for repairs and continuous improvement.
Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude to complete changeover of equipment and some operator level preventive maintenance.
Assist with root-cause analysis activities for process or product exceptions.
Checks work using prescribed gauges, jig and fixtures to measure close tolerances.
Ensures accurate documentation of all relevant quality, safety and maintenance documents.
To be done in conjunction with Engineering, Quality and Production supervision:
o Organizes, executes and directs improvement projects to increase equipment utilization.
o Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves complex issues associated with the machine performance and/or product quality.
o Advises on proper content of PM task list and frequency of execution.
o Assists with the installation, debug, and start-up of all new or modified production equipment.
Works with general supervision.
Works with external contractors and vendor as needed Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Qualifications High School Diploma or GED & Certificate and 2 years of experience in relevant field High School Diploma or GED with 4 years relevant experience required Relevant Fields:
Electrical / Electronics Technician, Electromechanical Technician, Mechanical Engineering Technician, Industrial Programmer, Electrician, Machine Builder / Repairer, Machinist, Refrigeration Mechanic, Welding RepairerKnowledge/Basic Skills:
Time management skills required to ensure all tasks are completed without delay Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to work with various teams Mechanical, pneumatic and electrical skills, must analyze, troubleshoot and repair complex equipment and machinery.
Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, diagrams and equipment specifications.
Flexible and adaptable in working with/on a variety of equipment, processes, projects or assignments.
Understanding and use of trades mathematics, calibration techniques, and precision measuring instruments essential.
Constant mental and visual attention performing moderately complex work requiring close limits of accuracy and tolerances.
Must be knowledgeable in the following areas o Use of a PC including MS Excel & MSWord.
o Demonstrate mechanical aptitude o Demonstrate electrical aptitude o Demonstrate hydraulics, pneumatics aptitude o Ability to use multimeter o Sensor technology o Basic plumbing (fluid and pneumatic) o Power transmission (gear box, motors, belt and chain drives) -Basic machining o Electrical troubleshooting of circuits from low level signals up to 480 VAC.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
